I am so thankful to God for everything He has done in my life. I praise Him for great parents who taught me about living in a simple way and honoring God with my body, mind and in everything I do. It has not been easy to keep the vow I made years ago to keep the holiness of my body for God and my future family. In fact, there have been those who have mocked me for the commitment I made.
But God has also sent people into my life who have supported and encouraged my decision. I am so thankful for their friendship and for the wonderful times we have had honoring God together in the process of getting to know each other.
Almost three and a half years ago now, God brought someone very special into my life. Even though many miles separate us physically, he has become my best friend! Last August I was finally able to meet Sam in person. I am so thankful that in all the time we have spent getting to know each other online and the brief time in person, we have been able to honor God together. Not even the distance has kept us from praying and worshiping together.
I pray that God will bless our plan to become husband and wife later this year. I also pray that we will continue to grow closer to each other and closer to Him as we start our new family. Amen
