God is Disciplining Me

Proverbs 3: 11-12

We no doubt enjoy God's expressions of love, such as his forgiveness and his blessings. There are times when God demonstrates His love by disciplining us. He may do this by allowing us to go through a tough time... And the fact that He is disciplining us is actually proof of His great love.

A loving Father would not allow us to do something that would harm us. Likewise, our Father God has perfect knowledge of the future. He knows the dangers we face. He wants to build a strong character in us that will benefit our entire lives.

Perhaps we are spending time with the wrong kind of friends. We may be unware of the effect they are having on us, but God knows the potential for pain and suffering that those friendships hold. He will warn us to seek out better friendships. If we ignore His warnings, He will discipline us. His discipline may not be severe at first... But if we refuse to change, His discipline can become increasingly painful.

There are many areas in your life where we might experience God's discipline, such as our habit, our attitude, our relationships or the entertainment we pursue. Whatever it is that Father God is cautioning us about. He is disciplining us because He loves us and because He will settle for nothing less than best for our lives.

I am so thankful for what I got in my life yesterday. Some positive people prayed for me and strengthened me. I was so sad yesterday and I realized that I made a mistake.. I may not be so sad because I have GOD and HE loves me by allowing me to experience that 'condition'.

I hope and pray that He will give me wisdom, joy and peace when I am 'struggling and doing something' with HIM in 20 days.

Thank you very much, my dear parents, sisters, Ida, Sam, Shirly, Cornelia, Andy, Mike, Kiki and family for your prayers for me. I will try to focus on my 20 great days I will do with HIM. May God bless you all.

Amen.
