"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3: 5-6)
I am glad for getting this reminder again today in my devotional time. I do realize that I still need to learn more to trust God and keep learning to remember that God is powerful and able to take care of my needs.
Proverbs urges us not to trust our own understanding of our circumstances. I would deceive myself if I would think I am smart enough to make the right choice apart from God. I need to keep trusting Him that His Holy Spirit will be given by Him always to me to guide and teach me in every decision, in every direction I will take in my life.
What I could learn today is God wants me to rely on His wisdom every day, in all things, not just when I am stumped and can't figure things out on my own. Live each day with an attitude of complete trust and obedience and He will lead me in the right direction every time. Amen!
