A Priceless Treasure

I am so thankful to Heavenly Father for giving me great friends in my life. They are positive for me. We try to build trust together. We also learn how to honor God and keep living in honesty and loyalty. For me a friend I can trust in my life is a priceless treasure. I do realize it is not easy to have a pure and healthy friendship. It is really hard for me but I am thankful I have Jesus who always reminds me to keep thinking positively about this life and healthy friendship.

I know that I need to keep learning how to be a genuine friend for my positive friends. I do believe they will learn the same things with me, too.

I read a book which tells about a genuine friend. A genuine friend is not afraid to be honest with us. She will be kind but she will not dish out flattery in order to hold on to the friendship. A real friend will listen to truth, spoken in love and accept constructive criticism, even when it hurts. She will not spread gossip about us.

Praise God! I can share about one of my great friendships with my friends. I have some positive friends in my life. Through this writing I want to share about my friendship with Ida. She is a positive friend for me for more than 15 years. We know each other greatly. We grow together through all struggles we had. She does not act out of selfish motives but out of genuine concern for my well-being. She often reminds me when I am wrong and I do the same things to her. I do hope and pray always for her... May Heavenly Father always bless her and answer her desires in her life to build a strong relationship with someone she loves and keep being a good teacher for all her students.

One message I got from the book I had read is "In all our friendships, strive to treat the other person the way you would like to be treated. Be the best friend we can be, and let Jesus worry about what you will get in return for your kindness."
